"If WOOD didn't exist, we'd invent it."
Architects accessing the whole value chain to inspire relevant wood buildings for the future.
David Goehring is a architect who has practiced in both The Netherlands and the US. His work on innovation in architecture and urbanism, focuses in housing and design for dis-assembly. A partner with Ax Jensen Goehring Architects, Copenhagen, the firm merges applied research with their architectural Commissions.
Over the past two years, in collaboration with Chora Connection a green do-tank sponcored by VELUX, David launched the Go2WOOD Initiative, the sustainable use of wood in Denmark. A diverse range of actors from across the entire value chain of wood in the Denmark and the Nordic region, formed a knowledge platform to communicate and act more effectively towards wood interventions.
